There were 3 gamesthat come to mind for me.

I was young going on a road trip with my family and my mom bought me a gameboy and pokemon, I had no idea what those were at the time. I had the best time of my life. It honestly was responsible for me becoming a gamers.

Honorable mention #1. Halo 2 release and playing online. This started the true modern day gaming movement where multiplier left the LAN parties and went exclusively to internet.

Honorable mention #2. Mass Effect Trilogy. Never really knew of the games and I saw the trilogy discounted on amazon a couple years back. I brought out my old 360 (before they were backwards compatible) and didn't go out with my friends at all for a month haha, played every night and weekend until I beat all three.

Hard to pick just one.

All amazing in their prime. To this day I haven’t played any games that I enjoyed as much as those.

Yep. Was going to post this one. I'm replaying it now for the thousandth time on the SNES classic.

This is the only real computer game I ever played. Some friends turned me on to it in college and I ended up surpassing them and never looking back.

I played A LOT!!

Many many nights I would play from the time I got off of school in the afternoon until I had school the next morning.... hahaha.
I remember my girlfriend (now wife - no pics) going to bed and I would go get online.

I had 2 accounts at one time with some twinked characters.

When I sold my character at Level 70 with about 250 AA pts I had 287 days played... I averaged over 8 hours per day for a little over 2 years.

I did get $1700 for my character and another $400 for his money in the game. I bought my wife's engagement ring with that money.

I was addicted but I knew when I graduated from college it had to go and I had to get a real job.

I was a dual boxer on ps2. Had 8 max level toons. Main was a drow elf Death Knight, 1392 CM's. Main on account 2 (follower petter) was a 1345 CM drow elf Lich. Other toons were an Alch, two Enchanters (both Spellbinders), two Heroic Werehunter Necs, a Diviner Cleric (clank build) and a werewolf Slayer SK. All drow elf.

I wasted two fricking years of my life grinding and raiding on PPO Server But it was a ton of fun. I stopped playing about the time the ZP expansion opened, so my proudest accomplishments were probably being the MT with my main on Noroxus, Sarek the Betrayer and Vamps. But Arianna the Ultimate was a blast as well, as was the big golem zerge mob that icr the name, that spawned I believe somewhere down by Guk? And then tanking Lady Vox with my DD Slayer and single 4-group was pretty satisfying although ridiculously difficult.

The graphics were pretty awful but the game was very fun. No game ever addicted me like EQOA did.
