I was a dual boxer on ps2. Had 8 max level toons. Main was a drow elf Death Knight, 1392 CM's. Main on account 2 (follower petter) was a 1345 CM drow elf Lich. Other toons were an Alch, two Enchanters (both Spellbinders), two Heroic Werehunter Necs, a Diviner Cleric (clank build) and a werewolf Slayer SK. All drow elf.
I wasted two fricking years of my life grinding and raiding on PPO Server But it was a ton of fun. I stopped playing about the time the ZP expansion opened, so my proudest accomplishments were probably being the MT with my main on Noroxus, Sarek the Betrayer and Vamps. But Arianna the Ultimate was a blast as well, as was the big golem zerge mob that icr the name, that spawned I believe somewhere down by Guk? And then tanking Lady Vox with my DD Slayer and single 4-group was pretty satisfying although ridiculously difficult.
The graphics were pretty awful but the game was very fun. No game ever addicted me like EQOA did.
I didn't play on PS2 so your game was a little different than mine on PC but I had one bad mofo Paladin.
I played on the Prexus Server.
I was in a pretty elite guild and in the absence of a warrior I usually tanked on raids. My dude had all the top gear and could generally keep up with any warrior on AC and HP. I just couldn't hold aggro as well not being a dual weapon guy.
My twink characters were a level 60 Enchanter and an Ogre Warrior that I think I got up to level 55 or 60.
It was a really fun game.

A few. Mario. RBI baseball. COD online. RDR. NCAA football. Those created new pathways in my brain.

1) Beating Goldeneye for the first time
2) Beating my dad in Madden for the first time
3) Winning a GameBattle COD:MW2 match after hiding to watch Garrett Hartley kick the game winning field goal against the Vikings (it was search and destroy and got the bomb planted with under 10 seconds left).

Super Mario 64 - when Mario jumped out of the pipe I’ll never forget it.

Something from OoT or LttP. IDK which point.
I was soo young then when beating those games that 6 and 10yr old me freaked out by the any twist.
Adult me it is all MMOs. Being in vent chats with my "online friends" and wrecking shtt in Sirens Call and Recluses Victory are my favorite times in life. Not just gaming. RIP City of Heroes.
Edt: I will break down and my eyes start to water like a bitch sometimes when thinking about City of Heroes. Not just because of the game but the friends I lost. Shtt cuts deep. Ghey as fckk but it hurts like losing a close friend or family member.

Awesome stuff. I was the same way. I was in two guilds though, one for raids and one for fun. Our raid guild was one of the top 3 biggest on the server. I was not the main tank of the guild but the sure fire backup when our MT couldn't be there. I was the only shadowknight on the server to successful MT the vamps at the time of my departure from the game. Iirc, the final vamp had a regular quad hit attack for like 3k hp a piece, with a crit of something like 5 or 6k. It was really uber offense. It was a blast, but I had to quit because I was missing out on too much real life. All I did was work and play EQOA

It would have to be Star Wars Galaxies in 2003. The wonder of being dropped off in Tatooine with jack shite was daunting and awesome all at the same time. Random group found me wandering in the desert outside Mos Espa and I ended up staying with them for the entirety of the game's life.
1a would be City of Heroes the first time I got a travel power. I could fricking FLY to missions. It was amazing. I was so taken by it I literally flew around the world for hours.

Final Fantasy X.
Final Fantasy 13. No, this isn't the game I choose, but watching the opening cinematic in HD got me so hyped. The feeling of its promise to be the greatest FF yet only made the letdown greater.

Easy, PSVR, RE7
To this day my favorite experience in gaming.
Botw, RDR2, and ff7 would be honorable mentions

My first playthrough of Dark Souls was as close a thing to a religious experience as someone can have with a video game.
Was back in probably 2013 or so, had been out of console gaming for about 4-5 years for some reason, just got busy with life and other priorities, had almost sat the PS3 era out entirely.
Got a new job that gave me lots more free time and decided to get back into gaming, got a used PS3 and selection of the "best" PS3 era games. Luckily Dark Souls was among that group.

Super Mario 64 - when Mario jumped out of the pipe I’ll never forget it.
Been gaming 30 years and there have only been like 4-5 games that absolutely blew me away on ever level and SM64 was one of them (Zelda NES, StarCraft on PC, Dark Souls as mentioned above).
Probably a month or two before the official N64 release they had a demo station of SM64 at a local Toys R Us. There were a bunch of people standing around it in awe and obviously a long line for it.
One Saturday morning I had my mom get there right when the store open and drop me off so I get on it before anyone else. I played it like 5 straight hours, pretty much cleared the first 3 worlds.
