Bill Elliot's NASCAR Challenge when I was about 3. I just loved the spin out animation when driving cars into walls.
Maybe Duck Hunt? It's hard to say

Friend's dad had one of the first Apples. I remember really digging Lemonade.
He also had some system you could plug in and play Pong.
Dude was cutting edge!
Of course Space Invaders was probably one of the first coin-op games I played.

I remember watching my dad play Top Gun on the PS1 when I was 5 or 6. My first game I played myself was Pokemon on game boy color I was 6 or 7

Mario, Punch-out, and Duck Hunt were what I remember most. We also had Top Gun and I couldn't ever figure out the carrier landing.

Some people in this thread are really young. I don't remember a game specifically but I started playing on the NES. It could have been anything there because my brother had an awesome collection.

yeah I know, I was feeling slightly old until I realized the majority of these toons played games before I did, so I didn't feel so bad anymore.
The one comments about watching their dad play ps1 when they were 5... good lord
P.S: Had it not been for my Grandmom buying me an NES, my first game to ever play would probably have been the Street Fighter 2 arcade game, I didn't own a gaming system til I was in Middle School, and even then it was only a GBC, and I was playing Kirby and Pokemon

It was some Coleco-vision side scrolling spaceship game where your ship would get attachments that would upgrade as the level went along. Seems like it was a game ahead of its time.

Top gun on the nes is one of the hardest games I've ever played
