The conspiracies are real

I remember playing Shinobi 3, Captain America and the Avengers, and Toe Jam & Earl on the Genesis when I was about 5 or 6. I talked mom into playing TJ&E and she loved it. I would almost hurt myself from laughing so hard when she would open up a random in-game presant and the rocket skates would send her off the screen.
I could never beat Captain America or Shinobi, so I would always pester my older cousins to beat the game for me.
ETA: The same year, I rented Earthbound because it was a huge box and I thought that was cool. It came with the strategy guide and I couldn't read a lot of words at that age. Dad helped me read the guide and we got to Twoson together. Earthbound ends up being my favorite game of all time.

is this where I come into the thread, mention I'm going to divorce my wife for a celebrity I will never actually meet, and post a picture of a transgender person, sic flips out, and tells me to retire from TD forever?

So I think tonight it going to be a "chill with the wife" night, and ignore video gaming as a whole

Anyway I finished watching MGS2. That was a crazy story. I didn't expect it to go that direction at all

And then there was MGS4.

Not there yet bro. Give me some time.

I'm just saying, as far as crazy stories, 4 makes 2 seem like the little engine that I could kind of understand.

Are you looking forward to phantom pain?
Posted on 2/2/15 at 2:28 pm to Mr Gardoki
Not really. Not to say I'll never play it, but since 4, it's been hard to keep up with what they've been releasing in that series. Don't care as much as I used to. IMO, the Snake story is over, but again, I really didn't understand what was going on in 4, so maybe not.

MGS4 was the worst. I couldn't finish it.

yeah, I might not be subtle about some things, but I will never, and never have, EVER insinuated anything like this in the public, tonight will be spent watching TV, I just like spending quality time with my wife, so in that sense I'm like the exact opposite of Geaux.
jk Geaux... kinda

Well I think Phantom Pain is earlier in the time line with Big Boss. I'm not sure though.

is that 5? If so, yes it happens before with Big Boss.
4 basically takes the story, chews it up, spits it out, and closes all doors to ever creating a sequel past it
