I’d like to think I’ll wait for patches, but I don’t think I have the self control. Just gonna play it and hope for the best with my play through

Same - just going to quick save often, just in case I bump into a bad glitch.

So, does that logic also apply to white supremacists?
In my experiences with white supremacists, yes. They typically hate their lives and look to others as a scapegoat for their problems.

Added the review of how performance is on current Sony consoles.
According to PushSquare it actually doesn’t run that bad on a base PS4:

PS5:

Oh, and load times are very, very short on PS5. Based on our testing, loading up a save takes around 10 to 15 seconds — sometimes less depending on the location. Neat.

Conclusion: PS5 backwards compatibility is easily the best way to play Cyberpunk 2077 on a Sony console. Solid 60fps performance provides a smooth experience, and the bugs, while still noticeable every now and then, aren't too bad. Enable HDR, and it can be a pretty game — just don't expect it to blow your socks off. Hopefully the full PS5 upgrade will get the job done in 2021.
PS4 Pro:

It took a good 45-60 seconds to load our save from the main menu. Loading vendor menus and other in-game interfaces also causes the game to chug a little — the kind of stuff that's instantaneous on PS5. Conclusion: Cyberpunk 2077 is far from a bad deal on PS4 Pro. It may be locked at 30fps, but it runs well enough, despite some noticeable pop-in from time to time.
Base PS4:

Cyberpunk 2077 plays okay on PS4. Hurrah! However, it's got some noticeable graphical and technical inconsistencies. It's undeniably rough around the edges on Sony's last-gen console, with framerate dips and abundant pop-in damaging your sense of immersion. It's not the disaster that we were half expecting it to be — far from it — but it's clear that sacrifices had to made in order to get this thing up and running on PS4.

This is going to run like hot doo-doo on my old xbox, isn't it?
Unfortunately yes. Sub 20 frames per second at times and the resolution is terrible. I would not even bother. Here is youtube comparison video b/t consoles LINK
The PS4 fares better but still isnt great.

Yea...and when I said better I meant high 20s frames per second instead of in the teens like Xbox and sub 720p in some places.

Oof, that does look terrible on the old systems. Well, on the bright side, by the time I finally upgrade to a new Xbox, I should be able to pick up Cyberpunk at a good price

Cyberpunk ran into the same issue that all games run into if the development cycle runs too long, the hardware changes out from under you.
You start development in 2013 for 2013 hardware and if you're releasing the game in 2021 you either have to make it look like an old game to support the now old hardware or you can ramp up the graphics to make it look like a next gen game but the hardware you were originally targeting can't handle it.
This has happened to a lot of games that have gone through development hell.
Regardless, I'm gonna play on base PS4 until I get my PS5. I've never been a frame rate Nazi and don't care about immersion breaking popins and stuff. Some people are really bothered by that stuff and they should either go PC or wait until PS5 it looks like.

I think one of the biggest takeaways is that if you own a next gen console and don't want to wait for the next gen version of the game, the games running upscaled on PS5/XBSX look decent with quick load times and will consistently run at a solid @ 60 FPS with moderate visual upgrades compared to playing on a last gen console.

Cyberpunk’s diversity is more visible than we’ve seen in many big-budget games before, but it doesn’t feel like it matters.
Because it doesn’t fricking matter. The only things that should matter in a video game is:
A. Is the game fun?
B. Is the story good?
Why people feel like they have to be “represented” in every fricking piece of entertainment or media in order to enjoy it baffles the hell out of me.

I enjoy the game.. it just doesn't appear to be the groundbreaking spectacle everyone thought it would be. This game was never going to live up to the insane hype it built up.

Base Xbox One: Created my character, played around with some controller settings (reduced inner deadband, set advanced options to 0), set all graphics settings to Off. Walked around but haven't done the first mission yet. Graphics are super underwhelming to say the least. Hesitant to play more and actually get to explore NC, drive, fight, etc. May switch to AC Valhalla for a while until things hopefully get patched up. Don't have much faith however. Debating trying to get a refund and get the next gen version when it's released and I upgrade my console.

You will be able to update the version you have for free to the Series X version once it is available... same for PS4 versions to PS5.

I refunded, same shite as W3 release, KEYBNDING! Interact key hard-coded, forward and back keys not bindable to arrows, but left and right are. They will fix it and I will play it then. All versions have been cracked

Game is definitely buggy but not game breaking, except the crashes I guess.
I'm playing on a base ps4. Biggest issues are graphical, annoying but nothing interfering with the game. Texture quality fluctuating more than if should, some snapins when things are very busy.
There are minor other little bugs here and there in the menus or what not as well.
There have been some crashes though. In a 10 hour session the game crashed 3 times, so ya, there is still work to be done. There's a built in frequent autosave so the crashes aren't the end of the world. Although last crash wiped out all my settings back to defaults, which was annoying.
Game itself is good, it's basically like a first person grand theft auto in a much cooler setting, a much more alive city, and with RPG elements.
Game is a little overwhelming as well, lots of menus, systems, weapons, builds, surprising amount of item management. They shower you with crap to pick up constantly.
I'm still sorta ramping up and getting used to everything.
