These are my top 5. I'm only including breweries who distribute in our fine state. Not givening free promotion to those who don't feel the need to fight through out ridiculous regulations.

I'm not completely sold on the order. Might put GF on top, but since I haven't been able to grab any since they actually entered LA, I'm not ranking them #1 yet. I really like Stone, but I'd like them better if they sent more of their special releases here.

Threw in NOLA because their here in LA but I wish they'd sell more in cans/bottles. As a married, old, family guy, I can't hang out in bars very much.

I've seen them all at Cuban Liquors.

Le Freak, HOp Head Read, and Double Stout at Calandro's.

Oh man that's going to be an epic trip. Very jealous of the few people on here who have been to the brewpub.

I like Bayou Teche also, especially the Noire and Boucannee. Would like to see them release something for the winter season, specifically a stout, maybe with some type of local addition (fruit?). Something to put them on the map.

You cant be serious.

They aren't even a real brewery. And the beers with their name on them are pretty substandard anyway.

I made a trip to Specs in Beaumont yesterday and literally bought one of each of these and a Clown Shoes (new to me).

Birmingham just had two breweries that popped up. Good People Brewing Co which I am not crazy about and Avondale which is very legit.

I've had Sweetwater 420, and that was good too. But i've heard their ipa and blue is not good at all

personally i love the ipa (better than the 420) but i don't care for the blue, although my wife does.

ETA: not sure how I left out Firestone Walker, good call. I would replace Stone with FW on my original 5.
