Love the Empress Chicken, Empress Lo Mein, and the best egg rolls I've ever had!

I guess I should try Jungs again. I thought it really had gone downhill last couple of times I picked food from there (even the "yellow menu").

Then don't listen to my recommendation. I haven't been in over a year. I rarely eat Chinese even though I love it.

Only place I am aware of in NOLA to get XLB fix even if it is weak.

Little Chinatown in Kenner gets my vote; Young's Garden is 2nd.

Five Happiness and China Doll used to be my go-to's, but the above-mentioned places are much better.

If Trey Yuen is too far away, I will vote for 5 Happiness. I also like Café East by Clearview.

I probably sound like a broken record here but I like Little Chinatown in Kenner

that's dinner tonight.

Going to see what vegetarian stuff they have.

Also that market in that shopping center has the best prices on Middle eastern and Indian spices and food stuffs it's unreal.

Walmart wanted $12 for a shaker of cardamon and Kased Bros had a bag of it for $3.

If I'm not tearing up the lo mein at China doll, Im at Empress.

Lately I have been slacking on both of them due to the "Westbank" and "Golden Treasure" rolls at TENNOU on Manhattan. If you like Salmon, there is no roll better than Golden.
