I don't eat Chinese as much as most people. I've heard Red's is amazing. Any other must try spots?

I probably sound like a broken record here but I like Little Chinatown in Kenner

Reds, Mings, Jungs, Youngs

I always eat Cathay Inn on Airline in Metairie because it's the closest to my house. I'm sure there are better, but I've always been satisfied with the food there.

I frickin' love Red's. I keep saying I want to try out China Rose in Metry, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I guess I'm the only one that thinks China Doll absolutely blows.

I guess I should try Jungs again. I thought it really had gone downhill last couple of times I picked food from there (even the "yellow menu").
Dragon Lady would be happy to see me.

#1 China Doll
#2 5 Happiness
#3 Little Chinatown
#4 Empress of China
#5 Ming's
Trey Yuen in Mandeville is worth the drive too.
The egg rolls at China Doll ALONE make it #1. I don't like 90% of egg rolls at Chinese restaurants, but I could eat JUST egg rolls at China Doll- they are huge and stuffed with pork.
I've been to Red's and Young's, and they are good too, just not in my Top 5.

I left off Cathay Inn- they are not top 5, but I've been going there once or twice a year for 30+ years- mainly to get their spicy mandarin chicken, which is a dish I almost never get at other Chinese places- they have a thick peanuty (almost satay) gravy that is my favorite of thst dish in the city. Their Peking Duck is very good too.
