re: How would you handle the arrest of this woman?

The way I would handle most situations like this, step over the blood and her, and make my way down the stairs minding my own business.

re: What’s your favorite firearm in US military history?
Posted by sfdurst on 11/19/18 at 12:28 pm to HeyHeyHogsAllTheWay
A firearm is a portable gun (a barreled ranged weapon) that inflicts damage on targets by launching one or more projectiles driven by rapidly expanding high-pressure gas produced chemically by exothermic combustion (deflagration) of propellant within an ammunition cartridge.[1][2][3] If gas pressurization is achieved through mechanical gas compression rather than through chemical propellant combustion, then the gun is technically an air gun, not a firearm.[4]

I was in the Air Force with a guy whose last name was Dick his first name was Alan.
In the Air Force jobs are/were signed off in the aircraft forms using the first inital of your first name and your last name ... he would sign his jobs off A. Dick

I’ve seen a few adapters that would work, but they’re way more than i need and very expensive.
This adapter should be able to support 4K video.
I am a little confused as to what you are trying to do but I am not surprised if you found the part it will be expensive. You are seeking more of a media converter and less of an adapter.

Look into Fort Hays State University FHSU . They have a great online program, with very affordable tuition rates.

I have always told my employees to come to me before they get an offer, I want them to tell me if they are unhappy or looking for something else. A good manager knows their top performers, who is a flight risk, and should have a plan for each employee
I am not sure I would tell my management I was seeking other opportunities. If I am looking for other work there is usually underlying issues beyond pay. If I need to tell my management I am looking for work because x,y,z somewhere management is dropping the ball.
re: Do companies ever pay for interviewees to travel to an interview?
Posted by sfdurst on 10/9/18 at 8:48 am to sweetwaterbilly
Yes companies pay to travel, however I would not expect to be reimbursed for a 2.5 hour drive. Usually the company will set up travel arrangements if the distances is great (required a flight) and/or overnight accommodations are needed.

I have been a non smoker since the beginning of June 2018. Here has been my route thus far.
21mg patch first 2 weeks
14mg patch second 2 weeks
7mg patch third 2 weeks (this was miserable)
Switched to 2mg lozenges (get them at COSTCO Kirkland Brand) I take 3-4 a day, I have been weaning off by starting to take them later in the day. I will say it has been tough weaning off these things, but they are a healthier option than smoking.
