This was a great challenge with a number of new participants, as well as some regulars. The entries were awesome, but there can be only one first place winner. Y’all won’t be shocked to learn that our first place grand prize goes to…

No8Easy2 - Smoked Brisket Tamales with Green Hatch and New Mexico Chili Sauce

In second place, the always original and creative…

LouisianaLady - Brisket (and Short Rib) Birria Mexican Pizza

Taking third…

RonFNSwanson - Smoked Brisket Bahn Mi

And in a respectable fourth place…

SomewhereDownInTX - Smoked Brisket

Congratulations! Y’all really brought it. There were so many really good entries that votes go to a large number of participants, making it interesting. I hope those who didn’t place aren’t discouraged. Personally, after I received one vote I felt like a winner!

Thanks, y’all.

No8Easy2, what is our next challenge ingredient?

This was by far my favorite challenge to watch, unseating the mushroom challenge for the title.

Congrats to ALL the participants, because there was not a single dish that I wouldn't have completely destroyed. That's why I never vote, I truly can't choose

You are all so talented and creative and I can't wait to again live vicariously through y'all in the next challenge.

Hell yeah!!
A damn honor to win one of these
So many great chefs with amazing talent!
Thanks for the votes, the other winners and to everyone that made a dish, that was a fun one!
And yes you too Darla thanks for putting in the time and making this happen

Really having a tough time coming up with the next ingredient
Was thinking one of the following..
Ham
Dough
Pasta
Hotdogs
But open for suggestions, we’ve used a lot of stuff

I agree.

Are we talking using hot dogs as ingredients for whatever you want, or making a hot dog (the meal) in whatever creative way you want/using whatever you want?

Because both sound awesome.
