Wing Stop is decent enough for wings if there are no other options. Fortunately there are other options though...like Pluckers.

that is still not a bad price.

Well not when you are matching it with PJ, Dom or Cristal!

actually I'm lucky to live in a city where I can go to Manchu and get wings for cheap as hell or go to Fleury of wings and get the best wings ever for these prices.
I am not dependent on which chain to choose from.

Yea, those prices are no where near the same for chicken wings let alone any of those food products. It isn't just food and labor the business has to pay for. Next time you hear about someone suing frivolously you can thank them for pushing prices over the edge.

The amount of lawsuits these days has pushed the price of insurance needed way up. Liability insurance is a big cost. Workman's comp is high because 4 stitches will be billed at $1650 (just had to deal with that).

I used to go to Wing Stop all the time but now the prices have gotten too high and I refuse to go there anymore, they have priced me out

I am not a broke dick by any means but $13 for 10 wings, fries, a drink and one cup of blue cheese for dipping is too much.

Price doesn't bother me. Maybe it'll thin out the herd.

They probably make a killing on the profit margins for this, no way it costs them more than $3 in expenses/labor to produce the meal.

C'mon man.

I bought 2 cases of wings today at $1.99 a pound. 80 pound cases, price comes out to about .30 a wing before you touch them. Add sauce, labor and some of the other factors discussed before and wings are expensive right now.

No way.

You can buy uncooked wingettes and flaps at the store for $4 and some change, get the sauce, then the oil to fry them in and it comes out to be around 10 bucks.

I get 10 wings from there and it costs about $7 and some change. Get it to go and drink a drink from your house or something.

They're pretty cheap and the wings are good. I like them better that BWW.

Yup a lost leader. The money is in selling draft beer with those wings.

but I can make more than 10 when I buy everything myself.... like other day with out Cheese Fries can't be made for under 10. That is correct once you buy everything it will cost around 11-15 bucks, but I then have enough stuff to make 2 or 3 batches of cheese fries.

I like wing stops cajun flavor a lot but I find their wings to typically be half the size of bww or pluckers wings. I often leave there feeling a little ripped off tbh. I don't mind paying those prices for delicious and big wings, but theirs are tiny

Yeah but the OP stated that it cost $3 to produce a $13 meal. I'd say they're lucky to make $4-5 off of that meal. And I'm happy to pay $13 for 10 wings, awesome fries, and a drink that's ready to go when I get there.

$13 for wings, fries, and a drink is bad compared to some places but still better than some too. Would only go if things wings were very good or I could get great cheese fries. That's the only reason I go to pluckers.

Buffalo Wild Wings and Hooters are both overtly expensive IMO.

You can thank McDonalds and their failed attempt at adding wings to their menu.

Yes, major shock to the supply. I'm just starting to see prices go down. I just paid $1.48 a pound.

It's even worse out here.

Buffalo wild wings is the chain here an it's 1.50 per wing. Pretty small too.

Wing night is .75 cents per on sale so that's better, still not a great price though since it was .45 cents in NC
