Wing Stop is pricing the common man out of their product

I used to go to Wing Stop all the time but now the prices have gotten too high and I refuse to go there anymore, they have priced me out
I am not a broke dick by any means but $13 for 10 wings, fries, a drink and one cup of blue cheese for dipping is too much. They probably make a killing on the profit margins for this, no way it costs them more than $3 in expenses/labor to produce the meal.
I can get better bang for my $13 elsewhere.
Anyone else agree?

Noted. Never been. Will likely never go.

I've never heard of Wing Stop, so no, I can't agree, but according to another poster that manages a well known restaurant specializing in wings, wing prices have gone up a good bit and quality has gone thanks to McDonald's recent venture into the wing business.

That's for their 10 wing combo, $11.99 plus tax.
Standalone its $6.79 for 8 wings, so after tax that's about $.90 per wing. Too much
When I was in high school back from 2004-2006 we would go there all the time, and it was around $8 for the 10 wing combo.

prices go up dude, it's just what they do
chicken per pound has increase across the board so it's not Wing Stop trying to increase profits, they're just having to charge more because their cost of goods is increasing

Whatever you say Todd Graves.

I went once and the wings were so tiny. I got lemon pepper which tasted like lemon cleaner and the fries were waaayyyyyy over salted.

I love their lemon pepper wings and fries with sugar on them. The ones here have great beer selections also. All that said I never go. Guess I forget about them.

I like some cajun wings from wing stop. The fries are awesome too. $12 or $13 isn't bad for lunch either.

All food prices are up, fwiw.
Add in the cost of doing business due to the ACA, along with every free grazer making minimum wage that thinks they should now be making $15 to $20 an hour, you get what is going on around you.
The middle class that is working for a living is pulling the wagon for the ones not contributing and riding in said wagon. Each day, more and more riders are created, which outnumber the pullers.

Mickeys venture into wings was a failure for them. I read about a week ago they were trying to get rid of 10 million pounds of leftovers in the freezers.

that is still not a bad price.

Well not when you are matching it with PJ, Dom or Cristal!
