Going to my parents, so I'm sure there will be a lot of Caymus, Silver Oak and Jayson.

It´s turkey, so probably a Merlot or Shiraz from abroad.

I´m not up on American wines, and am leery, and get that I´m way off base and shouldn´t be so. I need someone who knows, to show me.

Until now, I´ve only spoke with morons who speak about the grape, as if that solves everything.

Some nice stuff listed here. I've got a nice California zin for me and a Rhone in case the beer swilling Texans in the group want something else. Though after they've drunk their Bud Lights I could give them Welch's for all they know. Need to grab a couple of whites today. Maybe a Pinot Gris.
