That's my dilemma every year. We usually have an assortment of guests, some of whom have educated wine palates and others who almost never drink wine. I want the wines I serve to be good enough to please the wine lovers, yet something that I won't cry over if there are a number of half-filled glasses left on the table after dinner.

That's why I'm drinking what I brought. All affordable and nice wines but don't require too much thought. The moulin a vent was top 100 last year I think.
