Make turkey salad with any leftovers. It’s incredible.

This sounds interesting, never heard of using cane. I assume it is a mild smoke like fruit wood?

I just put my brisket on at 6:30

What time is everyone eating that y'all are smoking turkeys this early? I smoked one at 275 last week and it took less than 3 hours. 14 lbs IIRC

We are eating at noon. Mine should be done around 10. That’ll give me time to finish up all the other dishes.

What time do you eat? My big ole bird gets done in 2-3 hours at that temperature. And I have a massive bird.

Well, we hot a 12 pounder in the offset, and another 22 pounder stiffed into the fryer. South Bend, IN. Iits about 40 right now, which is unseasonably warm.

Smoked one is done, the fried one still has about an hour to go.

I keep trying to convince my wife to do that. I'd give a testicle for a nice medley of roasted brussel sprouts, radishes, baby carrots, and fingerling potatoes.
