Yep.
Both are excellent! Both can be used in a multitude of ways.

as well, and used pineapple instead of pears with a leaf of iceberg lettuce on the bottom, does not sound good, but the flavors and textures come together nicely for me, as a matter of fact had some this weekend
Yes!!
Dad used to make the pear salads, but one time used the pineapple rings instead. To this day, everyone in my family calls them "pineapple cheese things." I get that it is a pear salad, but with a pineapple that just didn't seem right.

I do seem to recall seeing them at the salad part if a Piccadilly as a kid though
Right alongside the carrot raisin salad, no?

My mom used mayo instead of CC.
I would scrape that stuff out & eat just the pear & cherries, then roll the cheese into a ball & feed it to the cat.

Who's momma used to make these?
Mine did. I freaking loved them. Will still make them for myself on occasion.

Ya'll don't like beets and brussels?
I'll take the pears/cottage cheese/cheddar combo please. Do not like beets and brussels sprouts. Never have and probably never will.

That looks disgusting.

Mine used pineapple, as well. I could never eat them; cottage cheese makes me

Yes yout original post says "minus the cherry these were good", you have a problem with descriptions of the item? Having glanced at a few other posts I have gotten a clue, so I can say yes they were and came with a few variations of the ingredients in them. I preferred the pineapple/mayo/cheese one.

I've never understood cottage cheese. It´s such a vile concoction.

I love cottage cheese. Also shredded cheese and pears. The mixing of it all still sounds gross to me.
Try it, I can't imagine you would hate it given that you like all the individual ingredients.
I get not liking cottage cheese tho; the texture and concept is very different. I'm really not entirely sure what it is exactly. I know plenty of people that hate it.
