Any word on an opening date? Expectations? I'm pretty psyched about Micah Martello's Fete au Fete.. He makes a real nice meat, rice and gravy lunch.. and check out his chicken and biscuits LINK

They hosted a meet-n-greet for employee recruitment a couple weeks ago. Last I heard, around Memorial Day was the hope.

Respectfully disagree. Needs to drop the price of his tacos by about a dollar a pop.

Yep, and the building is finally just about finished. I think they still have some work to do on the upper floors which will be opening in time for the fall moving season.

Vomit emoji

Hopefully whitestar can get their shat together. Running about a year and half behind schedule. Interesting to see what type of bar the owner sets up.

Am looking forward to chow and datz.

have had their pizza a couple of times when they've popped up at nearby locations in their truck. Its similar to LIT and the like but I find I like Datz better. I'll be glad to be able to find them on a more regular basis.

I could go for an oyster loaf from ol' Giamanco's right about now.

Also, for those that don't frequent the area regularly, this "Road Diet" is a fricking nightmare full of fail.

It may have had a chance at being sorta successful had CATS made good on their promise to move the bus routes off of government street, but as predicted, that did not happen. It's a complete shite show, as anyone with a brain knew it would be. None of the other locations where this idea has been tried had half the traffic numbers of Government Street in BR.

Because restricting travel in either direction to one lane while those passengers still have to sit behind endless empty CATS busses idling in the travel lane has basically made Government Street impassable from 7:00am-6:30pm during construction. If they are actually going to make it 3 lanes all the time, it's not going to be much better than this.

Road Kill Diet? WTF

That should be a new reality show. I got a rabbit the day after Christmas in Jeanerette that was still warm.

Talk about good stew.

Negative. The previously mentioned Soft Opening is May 16th.

Looking forward to it opening.... sounds like they will get it open the week before Memorial Day.
