It’s their low end wheater. People complain it sucks but I think its a good low cost wheat.

It tastes just like Pappy's but without the extra $600 worth of pretentiousnous. Weller SR is fantastic, and this is a good sign that maybe the market really is starting to normalize.

I'm starting to find Bookers everywhere here now 5 bottles deep at $105.

Fantastic lol

It's an easy drinking, low proof wheater. It's not remotely fantastic.

FPD Fresh Crack. Going all rye tonight. The Senator single barrel/barrel proof is the first choice. I’m a fan of The Representative so I’m sure this will be good.

I love those. I really liked one of the old Martins picks. Maybe the Senator?

That may even be what you’re drinking.

We bought a single barrel of presidential. It was 8 year MGP juice, 99% corn, 1% rye. A great barrel of bourbon

I get a real grassy note off the Bardstown

Never noticed the grassy note until after I read this... Now it's all I get

Oak Point in BR has a Penelope 10yr private select bottle right now. I think it's $80-90. Worth picking up?

Unless it’s aged (10+ years), I get a grassy note on pretty much all Wheated bourbon (outside of Makers).

Evening baws, FPD while enjoying some college football today:

The end of a great bottle.

CYPB is cracked too. My palate isn’t terribly refined when it comes to bourbon, as 90% of my alcohol consumption is beer, but these were really tasty. As of now I think the 107 is just as good, but I’m eventually going to try these side by side and see if I can pick up any differences/nuances.

Water, W12 and a steak are a great combo. Not too much proof, cuts through the fat a bit.
