I was just given a bottle of Knob Creek SBR 9 year old 120 proof. I am not a Knob Creek drinker other than their fantastic rye. What do I have?

This is what got me to like rye. I was never a fan outside of cocktails, but Pinhook showed me the way. For this it will always be a favorite of mine. I still am picky about ryes, but I love the ones I have enjoyed (Willet, Pinhook, High West, Pikesville)

I have same bottle. It’s a good one for those who like high proofs. Not bad at all.

I'm picking up one of those bell Meade cask strengths tomorrow. How is it?

Anybody do any secondary market bourbon exchange?
I have a 1996 UK Makers mark that was leftover from a previous homeowner that I found when I moved out.
I dont have any particular attachment to this and I'm not a bourbon collector(I drink, but don't collect). Not sure if it's worthwhile trying to offload it somewhere or just break it open and drink it.

Nothing too crazy with these. Only real value is to UK fans. You might get lucky and get $100

That's what I figured based on what I could find on line. Not worth the hassle to me.
I'll probably pop it open at some point in the future.

It’s possible. I frequent there. Any info on what they’re gonna do with their rares? I haven’t stopped and asked. But no words of a raffle and they normally get a good allotment of stuff. I’ve taken down a Lot B, Stagg and other solid ones the last few years

On the shelf or had to ask/request? Mine was ordered for me, so curious if someone is actually stocking these. I’d like to grab a second bottle.
