While he missed the point of this thread, his point does have some merit. The opinions of a bunch of strangers has limited value given that you don't know them, what they like, how that relates to what you like, etc. I actually agree with that. However, this board is a nice little community where people have the chance to share information and learn each other's preferences and discover who has similar tastes etc, and that is useful information. It's even useful to find out who doesn't like what you like, as long as they are consistent.
