Baby BTB has discovered a love for grilled cheese

Brioche bread sliced, lightly toasted inside, melted butter and toasted outside
Costco mexican cheese mix
Diagonal cut for optimal consumption

For me and Mrs. BTB we add bacon

I'm never upset when there is leftover fried fish and I get to make sandwiches that week. Rare, though. Just made a triple grilled cheese with thin sliced ham (bread-cheese-ham-cheese-ham-cheese-bread), needed that. But also rare.

My go-to is kinda boring but good, dijon mustard, ham, great value hot habanero cheese melted on top. When I'm feeling wild I'll do mayo and dijon.

I’ve been killing olive loaf, Swiss cheese and Funyuns on white bread with a dab of Mayo.

It’s utterly disgusting.

Fried eggs over well on wheat (untoasted) with American cheese, pre-cooked microwave bacon, Mayo, and black pepper. Any time of day. Any addition of any kind of lunch meat is also acceptable.

I eat this a lot too but prefer it toasted and add shredded lettuce and tomato.

A muffaletta is always my favorite, but a BLT is great too when I can get garden fresh tomatoes.

Finely shredded MS Pot Roast with dried basil and oregano added to the base recipe on an open faced poboy roll topped with several slices of provolone or Muenster cheese and melted under the broiler. Dip in the Au Jus. I also use a shoulder roast instead of a chuck for sandwiches just to avoid getting a big piece of fat on the sandwich.

In about 6 weeks it will be a homegrown Cherokee purple or beefsteak or creole tomato sliced thin and piled high on my homemade sourdough bread with Dukes mayonnaise and a good bit of salt and black pepper. Alternate between fresh bread and toasted bread and about 6 of them a week.

With ice tea or glass of ice cold whole milk.

And it will continue to be that until about the second week of September.

Coworker from Philly got me on an Italian hoagie kick. According to her the one that is closest to a Philly hoagie is Primo’s said it was better than even Francolini’s ( which is nice bc it’s half the cost and you don’t have to spend half an hour in line)
