Lmao. You probably said the same thing about the Bud Light pushback. Or Tractor Supply or many of the other hugely successful alt-right boycotts.
Just say NO to Nike!

“ The sports apparel giant is reportedly funding a five-year study on trans-identifying male children who are being given puberty blockers and hormone therapy — all to see whether suppressing male puberty early enough can make competition in girls' and women’s sports more "fair."
But let’s call this research what it is: disturbing.”

iPhone no longer loads two sites as it did
Posted by Creolesote on 5/7/25 at 5:15 pm
So my iPhone SE, which an ATT executive recommended to me and I LOVE all of a sudden seems like it can’t down load the data from my credit card home page and my stock broker like it has for years. So I can’t pay my credit card like I used to. I can download it on my laptop but also takes longer now than it did. Any ideas?

Many people don’t realize that top soil and garden soil like bed builder and even compost hasn’t broken down enough yet to get the ph low enough for acid loving plants. To Jack them up save your coffee grounds and even left over cold coffee liquid and douse them once a week with the liquid twice and spread the used coffee grounds once a week for a month.

First time I posted on the Tech Board. I came here before using my Geek Squad annual contract.
Y’all probably don’t understand the major cravasse that exits between computer knowledge between someone in their 60’s and even 50’s and later and someone like y’all. It comes natural to y’all. And one of the best things your generation can do for the one or two before you is help them/us on this. I know it’s taxing but thank you.

So this can be bought for under $1000 but a lot more than what a Chromebox costs. “ Microsoft - Surface Pro - Copilot+ PC - 13” - Snapdragon X Plus - 16GB Memory - 256GB SSD - Device Only (11th Edition) Latest Model - Platinum”
Is there something in between the two that would meet the OP specs?

A fresh Macintosh apple is special. Apples from the store bought from mikes away from where you live are like so many fruits. Picked before ripe and ruined.

re: Replacing appliances…
Posted by Creolesote on 5/6/25 at 4:44 pm to Creolesote
Oh yea and if you are about functionality or appreciate good workmanship and value then fix what still works and looks good. If you got to keep up with the Jones’ and impress people by what you buy as opposed to what you do then do not listen to me.

Our refrigerator is a Sears Kenmore from 1987. Still going strong. Very few repairs. Last fall we replaced the door seal for first time .The repairman said with door seal replaced it should last a long time. And this was a Maytag guy who could have sold us a new one. If you have an American made appliance made by a reputable company and it has worked well for you, fix it don’t replace it as the new stuff, he’ll all new stuff is Chinese crap.

Waffles and fried chicken breakfast. Complete the cycle of healthy choices! Orrr make a good Chicken Rueben casserole. Chicken, then sauerkraut, then Swiss Cheese and Thousand Island dressing in top. . Incredibly good.
re: Banff NP or Yellowstone
Posted by Creolesote on 5/6/25 at 4:25 pm to Lsutmorg
I don’t know much about Banf but I’ve been to Glacier sit and the agenda Tetons and. Yellowstone. Glacier is Excellent for day hikes and/or backcountry permits and has the Swiss craggy scenery that Bamf and The Tetons have. Yellowstone is an American icon and much more interesting to kids and has alot of wildlife and hiking but not the craggy mountain scenery. With young kids I’d do Yellowstone and the Tetons.
