Number 1 for me is a lemon Icebox Pie followed by PECAN Pie with some Ice Cream. Then any cobbler.

You are what people in your generation would likely call a "fuddy duddy."

Cherry Dump Cake. I don’t care that it’s made with a boxed cake mix and canned pie filling (and lots of butter and lots of pecans). I love it!

Oh, and Chocolate Delight.

When I was young, strawberry shortcake was an entree. That was the meal. We grew strawberries in the garden and my mom had a great shortcake recipe. We’d slice pieces of shortcake in half lengthwise and pour pancake syrup on it for breakfast the next day.

But it’s hard to argue with anything strawberry. I like the kind of strawberry pie that comes cold with the strawberries suspended in gelatin and topped with whipped cream. My mom also had a great recipe for a baked strawberry pie that was to die for. She could really bake. Apple pies, both regular and Dutch, blueberry and peach pies, pumpkin pies, coconut cream pies. We were never hurting for great dessert.

Another favorite is date pudding. I used to crave that every year during the holidays. It’s delicious and really easy to make. It’s a bread-like cake that you dice into cubes and toss in whipped cream. I can post the recipe if anyone is interested.

My late grandma's blueberry cheesecake. I have the recipe and have tried to duplicate it but it never comes out the same.

My wife is a great baker. Some of my favorites:

Crème brûlée
Key lime pie
Fruit jam/almond tart with a shortbread crust
Almond/caramel tart
Thumbprint cookies filled with jam
Cappuccino crunch ice cream
Tiramisu
Coconut cream pie
Sea salt chocolate chip cookies

It is really hard to pick just one GOAT.
