Tiramisu.

Close second is a slice of devil's food cake with chocolate frosting.

For me the GOAT is strawberry shortcake made with fresh strawberries, homemade shortbread and real whipped cream.

Ok grandma, get off the internet.

If it ain’t chocolate, it ain’t dessert.

Hmm, that's odd. I listed my six favorites, none of which contain chocolate.

A lot of you guys have mentioned Creme Brulee. If you like that, you would probably like a Burnt Basque cheesecake.

I love cheesecake. Plain or possibly with some chocolate syrup but I don’t like it with fruit.

The best I ever had was a sweet potato cheesecake at the restaurant at The Myrtles. It was heaven. I emailed asking if they would share the recipe but never heard back.

Girlfriend (no pics) made a Cream Brûlée for my birthday using goose eggs. It was unreal. The custard was so rich and flavorful compared to being made with regular eggs.

My MiL (no pics) would make egg custards from goose eggs when they had geese on their farm. It was very rich and flavorful.

Then: Auntie’s fresh coconut cake. She’d buy a dang coconut to make it and only went to the trouble for a favorite few, of which I am proud to say I was one. Awesome baker, even better aunt. Miss her!

Now: devil’s food cake with 7 minute frosting. Same frosting that Auntie used for her coconut cake. Yummy stuff, that.

Coconut cake or hummingbird cake.

The dessert I'm most likely to order is probably key lime pie, because almost nobody fricks it up, and even a mediocre key lime pie is better than most other choices.
