I didn't actually drain pour these, but I left them on the table because I was at the brewery. But I was in Asheville recently and visited a ton of great breweries. That being said, I went to a small one called One World Brewing and ordered a flight. They were all terrible so I just left about 3 pours of the flight on the table. Yes, it was that bad. All of it.

Worst beer I've ever had. I love spicy foods, hot sauce etc, but this was terrible. Had three other people try it and we all agreed

So my opinion on beer tastes is wrong?
Whatever you say, hoss
You drink what you like, and I will do the same.

Me not drinking them in Ellic isn't going to affect how many are available to you.

Brash - prestige worldwide. Growler i was given had lost all carbonation. I enjoyed it on tap at the wedding though.

Bayou Teche's 5 Yr Anniversary Persimmon Sour
Good lord, smelled and tasted like rotten cheese. I had heard bad reviews, but they had it at GABF so I tried it. Could barely stomach the first sip. Can't imagine they got any positive feedback.

It's Bayou Teche brewery, LA31 is the series of beers. They do make some memorable drain pours. The latest and last time I will drink one of their beers was Papa Rico, a barrel aged banana ale. Just a terrible brewery

Yeah, hate to crap on a local company, but it is what it is.
Best thing they have by far is the Bayou Peche Peach IPA. Not really anything else I would ever buy again from them.

Sierra Nevada Celebration
One of my all time favorites. Nothing says Happy Birthday Jesus like a good SN Celebration buzz. I get it though, it is pretty hoppy if you aren't into that kind of beer.

Bayou Touche's 5 Yr Anniversary Persimmon Sour
Really the most disappointing thing about this beer was the lack of fricks given when they packaged this up and shipped it out.
Someone in that brewery tasted this beer and said 'Nothing says 5th anniversary like a not so subtle mix of Parmesan cheese, sweaty feet, and baby vomit. Yep that's what we are going for... lets ship it out'
I don't expect these guys to be perfect, but every brewer/brewery should realize that if you want to be great, you're going to have to dump some beer. The absolute worst thing you can do is so blind or cheap that you take beer that should be dumped, package it, and then charge the customers for it.
Tin Roof did this when they started and there are still people who wont drink their beer because of that initial bad impression.

Yup. It's actually like Tin Roof is stuck in a groundhogs day scenario, because nearly every beer they release is the same result.

What's worse than that is the refusal to admit that something was wrong with it -- to this day they will attest to its quality. I've seen bitter bookface wars waged with one of the Bayou Teche guys where numerous people just shite on the beer and he repeatedly calls it an excellent brew. They just don't get it. And I don't get it either.
Last beer I didn't finish was a 6+ month old Founder's Bliss Blast, but actually drainpoured was the Wicked Weed Chocolate Orange IPA. Vile stuff on both accounts.
