Terrible brewery is a bit harsh. I am a known Bayou teche defender.
Yes, most of their beers kinda suck. However cocodrie, peach ipa, and Loup garou are very solid offerings.
People love their meed but that is not my thing.

It seems like they dont taste their beer sometimes. They make alot of off-putting beer. Not everything is bad, but they sure do have quite a few stinkers.

Last summer at the beach I was drinking Westbrook IPA when a group of white plastic Oakley glasses type guys set up camp next to me and proceed to start guzzling bud lite. One got brave and made a comment about me nursing my beer. Told him I was drinking man beer. He took one sip which came out of his nose. So yeah, pussies can't handle IPA's

Last night was actually my first drain pour. Highlands brewing St Theresa Pale ale.
No hop flavor, and not even much malt. Tasted like a slightly more malty lager. Just terrible.

Stone Enjoy After 12/26/15. Over-carbonated mess.

The last one was "Not your father`s rootbeer".
Not bad until you have 3/4 of a bottle left to drink and you feel like you just ate a bucket of Halloween candy from the sugar overload in it.

Terrapin Guano Loco. I was looking forward to it, since I like beers that have chocolate/cocoa. I also like a little bit of spice. Not sure if bad bottle or bad batch, but I sincerely thought it tasted like feces with a touch of green bell pepper.
I like spicy beers if done right (as in chili peppers). For example, Birdsong brewery in Charlotte makes a jalapeno pale ale that is one of my favorite beers ever. This stuff, however, was completely undrinkable. Literally like drinking hot sauce. I have no doubt that drinking a whole bottle would cause extreme liquid shites and/or logs in pants. I imagine it could be good for cooking though.

I was sitting there stretching my memory trying to remember if I'd ever poured a beer out. Then I saw that picture of the Wild Blue Lager. Eureka! That shite is awful.
