What's the best food or beverage development in the last 20 years or so?

For me it's coke zero.
That shite has completely changed soft drinking for me. I can't stomach diet sodas but coke zero is just a completely different animal.
No, it doesn't taste exactly like regular coke. In fact, it's less sweet but there really isn't anything about it (unlike diet soft drinks) you have to get used to, such as after taste for instance.
I really can't think of another product that's changed the food and beverage game the way zero soft drinks have.

For me, it's been the rise of the Specialty Ramen shops in the U.S.
Sure, everyone knew of cheap, instant ramen... but the real stuff is so much better!
Now with that, there has been an over saturation of mediocre ramen shops (similar to sushi) with everyone trying to make a buck off of it..
But nothing hits the spot better on a cold, winter day in Chicago!

Here's something I've learned and I don't really know how prevalent or true this actually is.
The noodles used in authentic ramen is the same as the shite in the grocery store packages. Sans spice packet of course.

Splenda was introduced 23 years ago. If I could, I would prefer sugar in moderation but my pancreas makes ZERO insulin and my liver LOVES to turn any and all carbs into triglycerides so this little "probably poisonous" sweetener is a life saver. I mostly use it in Tea and Coffee but it shows up in plenty of sugar free items and tastes better than most artificial sweeteners.

The Internet is the single best food development in the last 20 years. Now before you try to correct me on my timeline, I know the internet was available in 1994, however, the internet we know today only came about in the last 20 years.
The access to on demand, online recipes, instructional videos through YouTube, Q&A food forums such as the F&DB where people can share ideas, have all contributed to improved home, recreational, competition, & professional cooking all over the globe.
