What Happened to MeridianDog?

He had a span of time a couple years ago where he didnt post for a long while and came back. I also hope all is well.

I'm no great chef so MD's posts are mostly wasted on me. However I love his occasional posts about Jackson MS in the 50s, 60s, and 70s (spent some of my early years there).

His website has been hacked, language has been changed to chinese or something. This doesn't look good.

I'm pretty sure he abandoned that website not long after starting it. He participated here after having quit the website. Many abandoned/unrenewed domains get picked up by others who hope to resell them.

I used to love his recipe posts with the pictures. Hope he’s doing OK.

I exchanged some emails with him some years ago, so I know his real name. I did not find an obituary for that name. He has not posted on Facebook since 7/2020 and he has not posted here since October.

MeridianDog post using the same user name on a MS State sports board. His last post there was on 1/25/2022. He doesn't post regularly there so he was still above ground about 5 weeks ago.
