I’ll start: I’ve been addicted to Curry N Kabab off of Coursey for a few weeks.

It feels like you’re walking into someone’s home and they custom make your order to your taste each time. Very fresh - I regularly get the Butter Chicken lunch special, but they have all kinds of things.

Depends on your definition of low key no one knows about them, or low key not expensive?

My vote is French Market Bistro, best in town by far

in what world is Cocha "low key?"

will this just be a thread where the criteria is ignored and people just name their favorite restaurant?

We went a month or so after they opened, along with some friends. The portions were very small. So small that we all ended up at McDonald's after because everyone was still starving. We never went back.

Does Thai Pepper count? It's a little hole in the wall but great, authentic Thai cuisine.

Zorba's is also excellent for more of a small, intimate setting yet great food and service.

I agree with this minus the McDonald's part but I think you should go back and try it again. Went a couple of weeks ago and it was excellent and the portions were fair.

Swagat is waaaaay on the other side of town, but worth the drive. I like that Dempsey's over that way, too.

Bldg5 and Hannah Q's offer some tasty fare.

Guess it depends on your definition of low key.
