Walked down to a little pizzeria here in town.
We were given complimentary garlic knots upon being seated, and then split an app of goat cheese & marinara with crostini that was to die for.
I had a creamy chorizo penne (chorizo, spinach, hatch chilies, red onion, and cilantro in a white wine sauce). My guy had chicken parmesan.
Couple of cocktails each.

We took our kids to our little community Gluckstadt Germanfest this afternoon. My wife and I had a bratwurst with sauerkraut with peppers and onions and spicy mustard. My kids had a hotdog. Was gonna grab a pretzel on my way back home, but they had already sold out. Those of you food board baws that live in the Jackson, MS, area, give Germanfest a shot next year, if you haven’t already.

Baked a ham because it was the cheapest big piece of meat in the store. Some red beans, rice, bacon scalloped taters, salad and a pan of corn bread. Got my bartender fed, too! :)

Smoked chicken wings, then finished them by flash frying. They were crispy and really good.
