Another meat and cheese plate.

This time we had Soppressata, Prosciutto, Genoa Salami with a Sea-Salt & Honey cheddar, some sort of Raspberry Ale cheese, and an AMAZING triple cream that smells so incredibly ripe and goes perfectly with the prosciutto.

The more a cheese smells like a foot, the more I want to eat it, so the triple cream is by far my favorite.

Water crackers and a horseradish mustard for accompaniment.

Vodka waters and Dateline.

Smoked sausage with sauteed onions, garlic, cumin, cayenne, pintos, some chicken stock and scallions. The waiter from Cochon said we could steal the bottle of hot sauce when we went, so it's making an appearance here:

Pan fried red snapper (snapper courtesy of 4miles) with a crawfish and spinach cream sauce. Fried crawfish tails. A little bit of bbq beans.

Just contemplating on how I failed as a parent. Had lots of great leftovers in the fridge. Kids went with a Korean beef over rice.


I went with all American greatness. Leftovers.
