We usually stop there as a consolation for having to visit BR. The one we go to has a large cell tower behind it.
Never been to the one by St Elizabeth.

Seems like the food and atmosphere at the one in Gonzales is better.

It's catfish. $17 for two pieces of catfish, four shrimp, some lettuce and a potato is about $4 overpriced.

"some lettuce and a potato"

It's a large meal that should be more than enough food for a non-lardass. $17 for all of that is plenty reasonable. If you don't want to pay for it, I understand, just go elsewhere or eat at home. But $17 is a fair price for that meal.

My mom has some people staying at her house from Kentucky (they are originally from here, but have lived in Kentucky for the past 20 years and come down once or twice a year).

They went to Mike Andersons earlier this week and one of them got the seafood platter and was surprised it cost $34.00.

If I go somewhere I am aware of the prices and I am not going to complain if something is a little more expensive than I might assume, but I will say that $34.00 for a seafood platter is a little pricey. I went to Pat's in Henderson a few weekends ago and I want to say the seafood platter there was $22.00 and you probably get a little more at Pat's than you do at Mike Anderson's.

From their menu:

Fried Seafood Platter
Shrimp, oysters, stuffed shrimp, crawfish, stuffed crab, catfish fillets, crabfingers, onion rings, hushpuppies, salad or coleslaw and your choice of side. 27.95

That was an order for one person? If they ate the portion size of a normal person they wouldn't have to pay so much.

I am far from a lard arse. If you think 4 shrimp, two catfish strips, a small salad, and half a potato is a lot of food then you eat like a fat bitch that just underwent gastric band surgery. I’m not saying it wasn’t a satisfying meal portion wise. I just made the comment that the portion sizes are smaller than what I remember. Lol you would swear every goddamn poster here is rich and physically in the best shape of their life. I say $17 in my opinion is a lot for what I got and suddenly I’m perceived as being poor lol. Unreal.

For the record, I wasn't specifically calling you a lardass, nor have I called you poor. I just disagree with you that $17 is too much for that meal.
