Walk On’s So Bad!!!

Went to Walk Ons in town center and ordered the fried seafood platter for 26 dollars and the menu said catfish filets but all I got was 4 catfish fingers big as my pink finger! 3 hush puppies 3 shrimp a disgusting tiny bowl of so called gumbo and a whole bunch of fries!! Service was absolutely horrible and never offered refills or extra napkins, NEVER AGAIN anyone else?? WTF Happened to this place?

I don’t understand how Walk-On’s corporate tolerates that location. It’s so consistently terrible and monumentally worse in every conceivable category compared to every other location. That one location is poison to the brand of the franchise.

And you get imported shrimp, even though their menu is "Louisiana" this and "Cajun" that.
If they don't even use Gulf shrimp, they don't give a frick about quality in any regard and are just doing the absolute minimum.

It's a sports bar, not a gourmet restaurant. You go there because it is close to the stadium.

If you stick to the burgers or the buffalo chicken sandwich, Walk Ons is fine.

The other locations have decent quality for what you get. It’s just the Town Centre one that straight up sucks.
Walk-On’s isn’t elite cajun food by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s a pretty good chain sports bar with decent po’boys and good burgers, especially when you compare it to the other options it competes with in markets outside of Louisiana.

Just an FYI ..if you want a good fried seafood plater, (the best in BR imo) go to Elsie's and get the Big Plate. $20.00 for shrimp, stuffed shrimp, catfish and a side.

Last time I went there and got a draft beer I couldn't drink it.

Walk-Ons was bad then decent now bad again overall.. I swear once Drew Brees became involved it has taken a nose dive.. The Towne Center location has been absolute garbage for at least 5 years, if not 10.

That place has a been a shithole for at least 7 years. How it's still open is beyond me. I'm not saying Walk On's is gourmet, but the other locations at least have decent service and edible food.
