At some point I called it a "sports bar" and that bitch had the nerve to correct me by saying "we're not a sports bar, we're a sports bistreaux".
Certainly a vital distinction for a customer hoping (expecting?) to be able to watch the most important sporting event occurring at the time he is patronizing said establishment.

The ATL location in the Brave's complex gets great reviews and stays plenty busy.

Had the hangover burger at the Zachary location a few weeks back and it’ll do for what it is.
I started ordering this probably 15 years ago and I’m the type once I find something at a particular restaurant that I like, I don’t venture away. Literally it’s the only thing I order now when I go, which is about once a year.

If they don't even use Gulf shrimp,
It is a national chain now. When you move to that you attempt to have consistency in product whether you are in Baton Rouge or Boise. Also, you franchises expect you to obtain supply contracts with favorable prices and that franchise across the country isn't going to get that from the Louisiana seafood industry.

We went earlier this week for lunch and they were out of ice!!
Equipment breaks and unfortunately you do not always get a heads up that it is about to happen. Restaurants do not spend $10k+ just to have an extra ice machine in case

I asked the bartender to change the channel and you would have thought I was asking her for a handjob
Critical thinking isn't that generation's strong point. Businesses are dealing with it and parents aren't being held accountable for it

Went to the one in Lafeyette Thursday near the Top Golf area, Kaliste Saloom rd I think. Burger was ok but the waffle fries, no bueno.

At one time, years ago, one of my vendors used to gift me gift cards there and I enjoyed it, not just because it was free. Been twice now in the last 4 year, very meh.
I'm happy for them that they are doing well nationally, but we have better options here.
