the Walk On's business model is broken.
Consistency in the restaurant business requires scale and a maniacal commitment to culture.
Raising Canes is all corporate owned and the culture and experience is largely consistent no matter where you go.
Same for Chick Fil A (although they go with proprietor model).
The only way it works for franchisees is if you have a small group of major franchiesees who own lots of locations and can run things like a corporation. Mom & Pop franchise models do not work for this very reason.
There's no way Walk Ons can have 70 different 1-off franchise groups run things consistently across the board.

Last time I went there and got a draft beer I couldn't drink it.
Why is this the case at every Walk Ons location... Had this happen MULTIPLE times at Juban & Burbank.

walk ons locations are definitely hit or miss depending on the owners
service and food quality is below par these days
Brandon should probably unload the franchise and let someone try and reinvent it
go back to the original menu

Pretty sure private equity calls the shots now, not Brandon.

Someone get Gordon Ramsay or Jon Taffer on the horn. A rescue is in order!

Here are my two experiences with the WO's in Towne Center. A few years ago LSU was AT Ole Miss for the 2:30 time slot and I was meeting friends there to watch it. I got there early with the intent to watch the end of the 11:00 games. Every T.V. was on CNN. There may have been 1-2 on some random game, but 98% of the T.V.'s were on CNN! I asked the bartender to change the channel and you would have thought I was asking her for a handjob. Eventually, the manager came out and put on games. Second story is my son and I stopped in on a Monday night with MNF kicking off. We sit down at our table and notice not one T.V. is the game. Instead they were all on some game show hosted by Dwayne Wade. I asked our waitress if she could change the channel and she sent over the manager. LSS that dyke wouldn't change the channel and ended up asking me if I had a problem!! At some point I called it a "sports bar" and that bitch had the nerve to correct me by saying "we're not a sports bar, we're a sports bistreaux". I was enraged! Didn't step foot back in that hellhole for years!

This guy and babytac should be banned from posting based upon upvotes vs downvotes. Don’t know why this isn’t a thing

Agree. I put the X on them when LSU went to the National Championship in NOLA. arrived and asked for a table. Multiple tables open when we got there. They moved us upstairs with hiigh-tops and no chairs. Owner reserved all tables downstairs for his friends. I will never go there again. You should not go there either.

Had the hangover burger at the Zachary location a few weeks back and it’ll do for what it is.

Its a glorified bar with apps. Food/menu is dogshit

who goes to walk ons for a seafood platter?

Good Lord people. If a restaurant was as truly as bad as the comments here, it would have closed down 10 years ago. Like someone said, it’s glorified bar food, and it is aggravating when they always run out of a certain beer tap, but I’ve never had a bad experience with anything I’ve ordered there.

Just had sliders, picked up in Alexandria to bring home, were very good. No complaints…

It's a sports bar, not a gourmet restaurant. You go there because it is close to the stadium.
Sports bars here have pretty good food.

I can walk into probably 20 bar and grill type places within 10 miles of me that have better food and service than Walk On's.
And yes, they all have TV's and people watch sports in these places.
