This hurt my head. Excellent submissions.

1. Got Blaze (I love blackened shrimp. I love Indian food. and I Love pastry. looks unreal. I have a feeling it will be an underrated dish.)
2. Btrtigerfan (the marinara sealed it for me)
3. Darla (you nailed a favorite of mine)

Banging job on all the entries that is exactly what I hoped for when I picked shrimp.

I finally looked at them all and formulated my votes. It was hard to pick, I wound up taking out all the ones that were a regular type shrimp dish (shrimp in a sauce type). Not that there is anything wrong with any of them...I just had to narrow it down some how

1 Holygrales Grit cake thing...Making some grit cakes are in my future I also like the use of unconventional things like the cake to make a slider type of snack.

2. Bigdroppers Ceviche Shrimp slices. I am very intrigued on the process of that. Can you go into more detail? How did you get them to hold together for slicing. Ceviched how?

3. BTRtigers ball It reminds me of a Billys pepper jack boudin ball. If it only had some pepper jack mixed in that center.

Just wrapped in food film and frozen, didn't have any Acitve RM on hand to "glue" them together.

Ceviched how?

Marinated just before freezing and after slicing/ plating.

Made a marinade (Leche de Tigre - Tiger's Milk)

Leche de Tigre - marinade
1/3c Sour orange juice
2oz Lime juice
2oz Lemon juice
2ea Garlic cloves
10ea Cilantro stems
1oz Ají Amarillo
1/2c Red onion, chopped
1/4t Fish sauce
tt Salt

Blend first six ingredients, strain add salt and fish sauce.

If doing it over, I would blanch the cilantro so that the marinade holds it's green color longer.

I was wondering if they were just frozen then sliced. Didn't know if that would hold them together enough but it did. Pretty cool

And I'm on the board. Yes!

1. Darla... I would go for that first at a party without a doubt.

2. BRTigerFan... That would be my send choice. Looks amazing and great technique on the risoto balls.

3. Jax-Tiger's garlic shrimp with chili jam. I want that in my belly. Or on top of my waffles.

You guys kick arse at this, I have felt confident about 2/3 dishes so far and everyone brings it to the point where I'm just happy to get votes.

I find choosing to be extremely painful. Every single dish is drool worthy. If someone had a shrimp cocktail party, I would be in heaven.

1. Darla-I'm a sucker for good stuffed shrimp and they are hard to find.
2. MSMhater - I'm also a sucker for dumplings and those flavors sound so good.
3. Got Blaze- you guessed it. I'm a sucker for phyllo dough.
4. Every single other dish and on any given day, all of them could be in my top 3.

GREAT JOB TO ALL!

Maybe y'all should get together and open a restaurant!

Is it too late to vote?

If not-

1) Boo- for creativity. I love chicken and waffles so how have I never thought of shrimp and waffles.???

2) Meridian - I am very likely to try his recipe at home soon.

3) Darla- since restaurants do often disappoint on this item I am assuming it is like gumbo and jambalaya and is better at home.

I have opened windows to vote several times today and couldn’t come to a decision. Ugh. So many good ones. I’m sorry to anyone I’m not voting for.

1. Big Dipper - I love ceviche and the presentation is stunning.

2. Holy Grale - All of the elements seem like great choices and I’d love to have a bite.

3. Btrtigerfan - Arancini successfully done. Maybe I’ll try again someday.

Really, every single entry was excellent. So hard to choose.
