Gotta pay that Metairie tax. It's the price you pay to not get robbed at supper.

Picked up two medium from Romas last night for the kids. $25 and some change. Worth every penny.

Great place. Especially with kids. Next time get a pitcher of beer it will increase your cost by $2.

So you and the wife had dinner for $24 (good food too apparently) and you're complaining?

Their pies are large. I'd be willing to bet Yall took slices homes. If Yall crushed a whole large, kudos. I'm sure you left full

2 drinks is probably $5 a pop, too. Drink water, bring your own wine, or drink cheap beer

Fwiw, I really like their pie, but I always feel like it was a few dollars too high as well when I leave. I think in terms of quality it's probably pretty fair pricing, but pizza is just one of those things we are socially conditioned to expect to be on the cheaper sidefof things. But that could just be me.

It's still cheaper than Mark Twains and probably most of the specialty pizza places

Mark Twains is awful. I dig Tower.

I'm comparing the menu of those two places right now and that's not true. Large Specialty veggie at MT is $17.99, $18.95 at Tower. Tower's Supreme is $26.45, MT is $21.99.

Straight pepperoni is $18 at Pizza Delicious, Tower is $15.95 for a large one-topping. In terms of amount of pizza/dollar, it's a better value than Pizza Domenica during regular hours, but during HH that probably tips in favor of Pizza Domenica.

None of that brings up the discussion of quality, however.

Love that place. You should have gotten a large artichoke salad, as well.

Been a while since I've been to Tower, so I guess I'm off.
I bet the Tower pizza is bigger though.

You paid a slight premium for not having to eat Dominoes.
