Top 3 Nola restaurants that opened in the last 5-7 years

Haven't dined in Nola as frequently the last few years due to kids. Wife and I have a date night in May. The last 3 years or so, we've dined at Cavan (RIP), Compere Lapin, Patois, Sac-a-Lait (RIP), and Gautreau's. Looking for a new spot, preferably Uptown or in the Warehouse District. I use to keep up with the food scene in Nola, but I'm clueless as to what the new hot spots are. Thanks in advance.

Costera is the first that comes to mind if you haven’t been there yet…
ETA:
Gianna
Miss River (pricey)
Couvant (just reopened after 2 years in the Eliza Jane so keep in mind they might still be figuring things out with a new chef)
Peche (as mentioned below, if you haven’t been make this your stop even if it’s been around for years)

I would've suggested N7, but it's not Uptown or Warehouse District.

I'd 2nd Costera.
Maypop in Warehouse District
Outside the search area would be Paladar 511.

Agree on Peche. It will be "new to you" and isn't too far out of your date range.

Was there Saturday night, fantastic. App special was rabbit livers over grits, I could have ordered a few of those and just had that as my meal

Unbelievably good dish.

I guess I'll have to try Peche again.
I live 2 blocks from there but haven't been back after a prior bad experience 3.5 years ago when our service was slow and unprofessional. It took 20 min for initial drinks, another 20 for apps, the whole fish we ordered came out 90 minutes into the meal and the waitress, after selling us another bottle of wine, ditched our table and co-opted other wait staff to hurry us along. We obviously had reached our time limit for the table to no fault of our own. When I jokingly asked if they had 'go cups' for the $90 bottle of wine she just opened, they were ready to oblige until I told them I was kidding. I find the noise can be a nuisance to some of my guests also.

That's a shame. I can understand being gun shy after that experience.
Was it a particularly busy time?
In all the times, I've dined there, I've never had any issues at all. It's not a quiet restaurant. I agree on that, but the noise has never bothered us.

Bad food or bad service?
I will never not go back to a place because of 1 poor service experience. That is ridiculous

neither service or food was bad, it just wasn't particularly good either. it was just very average. with a plethora of places to try and go it just never made it back onto my list.
this board is usually pretty spot on with places so it must have been an off night.

Thanks for the suggestions. Paladar 511 looks great. It’s on the short list.
Been to Peche once years ago. Good meal, but kinda left with an underwhelming feeling.
Probably bringing my 7-month old with us, so one of the upstairs room at Clancy’s might be best suited for her (assuming she’s sleeping).
