Any cattle sale barn in OK makes a better burger than any chain or restaurant you can go to. Sounds kind of hickish but its true.

A good burger has the buns toasted on the grill.

Flavor wise, give me the Big Mac everyday of the week.

But the meat is so small now it's pathetic.

Moot point. The debate is national chains.
And frick OK. They put Miracle Whip on everything

I have family that live in Walters, and I lived in OKC for three months back in 1999. I couldn’t find a decent meal other than the Mexican food truck that came on site (but you paid for it later)

They just opened one near Tanger Mall a few months ago. I went once, it wasn’t the same as it was years ago. Moo-Ya’s across the street is 100x better, just expensive as hell.

Wendy’s is still the best national chain fast food burger. By a lot.

Back in the 70s and 80s, Hardees had the Big Deluxe burger. Very good burger. Their original Mushroom and Swiss was a very good burger too.

I don't know how widespread FastTrack was but I used to love a BigO and some seasoned fries.

Of the big national chains I prefer Wendy's or Freddy's burgers.

Based on the OP my fat arse stopped by sonic on the way home because I hadn’t been in forever. Meat was as bad as EBR public school lunch burger meat. Doesn’t come close to being as good as whataburger.

Wasn’t there still a fast track in a gas station over by the sunshine bridge in the past few years? Or did I hear incorrectly?

If Fast Track were a national chain they would win hands down. The one by the Sunshine Bridge was still putting out straight fire a few years ago, but I don’t know how they’ve fared through the China virus.

Whopper is fantastic if they give you the correct item and the staff isn’t too rude to you. The staff at BKs in the south make the workers at Wiener’s Circle in Chicago seem like Mister Rogers.

Freddy’s is delicious and fairly reliable.

This used to be true until about 7-8 years ago when they changed their burger and buns. Their chicken sandwich used to be the best as well. I quit eating there around 5 years ago, just nowhere near the same quality. Now I rely on Sonic and occasionally BK when in the mood for fast food burger.

Whopper w/cheese.

Unfortunately I’m unable to get it much anymore due to the burning sulfur smell that is emitted from my butthole afterwards. Wife isn’t a fan. Still delicious though

Was still there a year ago. Don't know about now. I don't remember the legendary Big O being on that menu.
