NY Pizza and Pasta on Jones Creek in Baton Rouge is excellent.

Pepperoni Ray’s on Franklin Ave. makes an excellent pie. Top 3 in the city, IMO. Check it out!

Before the COVID shutdown this was a weekly spot for my wife and I, best pizza in Lafayette. They also have very good entrees and pasta, though their menu is now limited and they don’t have dine in (due to COVID).
Wild Child Wines (downtown Lafayette) has a Detroit style square cut pizza pop up next door occasionally called OnlyChildPizza, they have a weird schedule I usually just check out their Instagram. It’s very good, completely different style of pizza compared to B&C, but is my second favorite pizza in Lafayette. It would be tied for 1 if they had a more consistent schedule and had an actual restaurant. Next pop up for them is tomorrow from 4:30-8.
Pizza Delicious is my favorite “traditional” style pizza in Louisiana.

We've had B&C 4-5x. It's fantastic. Had Alessi once, it was above average, but not great. Haven't had Pizza Village yet. Is it even worth it or should we just stick with B&C?
If you want to venture away from B&C, give Central Pizza a shot. It’s not as good (I would rank it third behind B&C and OCP), but it’s not bad at all and they have dine in and a good atmosphere. They also have good cocktails.
You could also try to hit up OnlyChildPizza on one of their popup nights.
I wouldn’t recommend Pizza Village or Deano’s to someone not from here. I will eat Deano’s on occasion, but mostly due to nostalgic purposes

Thoughts on Tony’s Pizza in lake charles?

Friend, I regret to inform all of south Louisiana, from Slidell through Lake Charles, that the best pizza in Louisiana comes from Shreveport. Two months ago, I flew to visit Cousin, who now lives in Shreveport. Cousin loves pizza and he brought me to Frank's Pizza Napoletana. It was as good as any Neopolitan style pizza I have had. To compare it, or any Neopolitan pizza, to Domenica's awful attempts is a disgrace to Naples.
You are correct. Frank's makes a great pizza

Tommy’s is good not great. It never disappoints but neither does it ever amaze. TulaneLSU is correct that NOLA has no pizzeria worthy of the city’s culinary standards. Lots of good but no great.
Pizza Domenica is perhaps the most disappointing in town.
Next time I’m in Laffy I’ll check out one of the spots y’all have mentioned

Pizza village is horrible. You need to get out more

I'd nominate City Slice in BR if they could just get their consistency better. Their smoked chicken or duck bacon pizzas are incredible when done right.

I'll second this. When they're on, it's one of my favorite pizzas ever.

West Main Pizza in Houma, Taco Pizza is my #1 pizza.
#2 would be a Sampler from Mr. Gatti's.
Don't care what anyone says about my taste buds.

growing up in monroe it was a rare treat to go to Godfather's Pizza. I freaking loved Godfather's before it became gas-station pizza in blighted parts of town.
That second story Godfather's across from the Varsity at LSU

My favorite was the old Dolce Vita foot truck/trailer.
Great pizza. Great Specials.
Bogdan the owner was a wild man. Loved that guy.
