growing up in monroe it was a rare treat to go to Godfather's Pizza.
On Louisville Ave. IIRC.

Johnny’s was my go to. It’ll always have a special place for me. I remember getting free 8” pizza coupons for getting all A’s at Drew Elementary. My grandmother lived “in town” so I’d ride my bike to the Johnny’s on Warren Drive and get my free pizza. That, plus about $2 in quarters and my Saturday afternoon was set. I still get that same nostalgia every time I eat a Sweep the Kitchen.

BTW- Flying Heart has the best pizza in SBC right now.

substitue 'town and country johnnys' and i had the exact same experience. nothing better than riding your bike around all day & ending up at johnnys for a 8" pizza to kill the hunger

I do love the Northside Pizza Village.
Deano’s is another Lafayette classic.

I’ll throw in Antoni’s as my personal favorite.
Mainly due to the fact that we are regulars and live the service and atmosphere. They treat my daughter like a princess when she shows up.

RIP Alesi Pizza That place is awful now.

Can’t disagree with you on this one. I miss Frank’s since moving south.

Pizza Delicious is good but incredibly overrated, for that style Red Zeppelin is equal if not better

Pizza Domenica is good but I prefer the garlic knots
Domenica and Rocca probably tied for my favorites

They just opened one in Lafayette in the old Bisbano's Pizza location, we ordered from there a few weeks ago and it was average at best. Every time I pass by there barely looks to be anyone there and with Bread & Circus and Central right down the street I don't expect them to last very long.
