I like La Petite Grocery even though I've never been on a date there

Meauxbar is really solid, don't know if I'd consider it romantic. I suppose it's romantic enough though.

Not really a romantic feel in there, IMO. Close though. Plus they need to learn how to cook rabbit correctly.

I would remove these 2. There are about 10 other places you could add in.

The Ruth's at the Harrah's hotel has curtained booths and I thought they were romantic as well.

The original Chris' Steak House that was two blocks up Broad and on the other side of the street had them as well.

Glass, returning to our dialogue on the meaning on dated:

When you said Impastato's was dated, I didn't get the impression that had anything to do with being romantic or not. It was a slight on either the food or the decor. There is no argument that Impastato's hasn't changed much since the 1980s. But I don't think that's a bad thing, in the same way that Galatoire's hasn't changed is not a bad thing, but indeed a strength, to those who love it. How many other places in the Metro have been consistently as good at producing Creole Italian as Impastato's during the past three decades? And how many restaurants in the Metro have done a better job at preserving 1980s badabing mise-en-scene?
