I like to have a theme drink for the Holidays. Last Christmas I did Moscow Mules. It needs to be something that the ladies will like to. I did a few internet searches, but I wasn't inspired so figured I would ask the board for suggestions.

Look for something using satsuma juice. I've been squeezing it in my gin.

French 75s always a nice day drinking option.
Salty Dogs or Greyhounds
Hemingway Daiquiris
Sangria
Punch (Probably your best bet)

Satsuma juice makes a rockin' mimosa. Had several of those last weekend.

Kir Imperial

1 part Chambord
9 parts Champagne

Pour the Chambord into a champagne flute.
Gently pour in the champagne, being careful not to let it foam up too much.

Pumpkin pie martini

You can make a pitcher and keep on ice. It's a pleasant cocktail and if I were a drinking man would possible consume one.

I like the satsuma theme. I may use that. Screwdrivers, mimosas, tequila sunrises, and I'd be curious to try out the gin.

Let me know how it turns out.

I was thinking of a satsuma simple syrup, too.

A friend gave me a jug of satsumachello a couple Christmas ago. It was nice. Seems it took him a month or so to make a batch.

If you can find it where you live, I like to use Catdaddy Moonshine or Cathead Honeysuckle. Mix some satsuma juice with that and pour over ice. Topping it with a little bit of club soda a good idea as well, ends up tasting not unlike a dreamsicle.

It's a very good light red wine that only comes out during the holiday season.
