So sorry to hear! I always enjoyed her posts. Thoughts and prayers for her family.
I think he had to be the youngest. I remember the little girl toddling around and calling her grandfather doc. So sorry for this family, they’re really good people.

As a fellow Rayville person, I noticed that they’re selling frozen Veron’s at Robinsons meat market now.

Use Clorox laundry sanitizer. That stuff gets rid of any funk.

Trying to stir up some chicken fajitas but the peppers and onions are taking their sweet time to get brown. Ready for it to stop raining so I can play with the new Traeger.
I used to have a different brand electric model, but some friends borrowed it and returned it as a hot mess. The old one was a workhorse, Honda I think. I thought it was impossible to break, but those fools found a way.
That was my thought process too, I don’t need to use it but on two relatively small to medium porches. I’ll probably exchange it and see if this is just a lemon, and if that doesn’t work then to hell with it, it’s gas time.
Didn’t seem to be, it would work great for about 5 minutes at a stretch and then start acting a fool again.

Anybody have a Ryobi pressure washer?

I bought a small electric pressure washer yesterday. Hooked it up this morning and it constantly cycles off and on with spurts of pressure and no pressure. I made sure there were no kinks in any of the hoses and that everything was properly connected. Has anybody else had an issue like this or did I buy a lemon?

Jealous of everything listed so far. No water today so probably craptastic microwave pizza on a paper plate. I don’t even want ice in a drink anymore.
Gotcha. Country Bob’s is a somewhat acceptable substitute in drunken desperation in case you need that information.
Where are you finding pickappepa? I haven’t seen any in months and I really miss it.
Glad I’m not the only one that did that. We dripped cold water all night, but the kitchen hot water still didn’t make it.

Fried catfish, fries, and hush puppies. The damn stove is broken and we can’t do another fast food night.

Where are you? Mine is still out and now the tv wants to act a fool too.
Gumbo and fried catfish for Christmas Day. Christmas Eve is usually just snacks. Sausage balls, chips and dip, etc. Trying to keep it a little easier this year.

Thank you! I get it now that you mentioned almond flour. I thought before it was just an egg and cheese mixture and wondered how in the world that was a bun substitute.

I know it’s been mentioned before, but what is a chaffle?

I’m pacing myself and enjoying some wine, but nachos are the eventual game plan.
