Corn definitely has more flavor, years ago that was all they had in the stores. But flour tortillas, while almost tasteless, are easier to handle and work with for enchiladas, have taken over, the stores usually only have one brand and one size corn tortillas.
Nothing tastes better and more authentic than fresh corn tortillas.

Flour because I can't ever find really good corn. I do like corn for street tacos if they are good quality.

I have a Mexican connection and she makes both and if they are homemade with lard I like them both. I buy fresh corn from LaMorenita and they are very good.
If I buy store bought I try to buy NOLA which are made in Gonzales and at least they are the freshest.

corn, as long as it's not those shitty crumbly dry cheap varieties that fall apart the minute you pick it up.
And not a knock on flour, which can be good as well. But they're making ridiculous "super soft" flour tortillas that stick to the roof of your mouth and in your teeth. Nasty buggars.
Anyway, mass produced product sold in Walmart and most grocery stores should never be in the discussion is my main point. You have to opt for authentic tortillas, whether flour or corn.

Flour if Im burning it directly over a flame, corn if it's being grilled in butter for a minute in a skillet. I have eaten breakfast tacos every single morning since November.
