Gonna be doing a chicken and steak stir fry with onion, garlic, ginger, brocolli, red bellpepper, carrots, peas, egg, and brown rice. Soy sauce, sesame oil, and sesame seeds.

I have chuck roast I’ll cook down in the ole crock pot for roast beef po boys later.

Walmart market sells bread in a plastic tub for .50 each that are very good. Resembles the Vietnamese bread you buy in the East. Perfect for sandwiches.

Thought about smoking this chuck. Maybe next time once the weather cools off. I hear it’s a cheaper alternative to brisket that comes out very nice. Haven’t tried that yet.

Boiling some more shrimp and I have a pint of crab claws I managed to hide from company last night. I found a recipe from Brennan’s for crab fingers bordelaise that we’re going to try on those.

Sous vide pork tenderloin with red wine reduction sauce, and a roasted vegetable medley for dinner.

I'll post pics.

Got a turkey on the smoker after having it brine for the past 36 or so hours. Then I injected it, did my outside rub on the skin and on the smoker it went.

Having that with mashed potatoes, brown gravy and steamed cauliflower for dinner tonight before the Saints game.

I submersed 2 chuck roasts in a bath at 130 degrees yesterday. At 3:00, it will be 24 hours.

Gonna slice thin lay on an open face ciabatta from Poupart’s, and drizzle with au jus and a horsey sauce.

Maybe Brussels on the side.

Big pots of spaghetti and sauce on the stove. Nursing my second glass of Stave & Steel Cab and smelling the pumpkin bread as it cools on the wire rack.

I prefer cubed beef but this is not a food board chili. Family likes ground meat and to put on hotdogs

Not in the eyes of my child. This is how she likes it. I don’t mind eating ground beef chili. Chili dogs for her later.
