Steak prices are out the roof!
I ended up getting some sirloins on sale from rouses and some selects ny strips from albertsons while I picked up my brisket. My inlaws and sister in law with her family were coming over (last minute thing).

Sous vide my sirloin for 20 hours, Sous vide my strip and pork tender loin for 6 hours. Came out amazing after i threw it on my charcoal grill.

When the hell will these steak prices go down? I need to Sous vide a ribeye

Complains about prices, doesn’t list the price.

We have very different definitions of a “last minute thing”

3 ribeyes at Costco was just about 70 dollars.

I put the sirloin on last night for myself for tonight. then my wife told me my inlaws were gonna come around 11 this morning so I had to go find some more steaks.

Our money is losing value. Everything costs more. Look forward to it getting worse.

Yep. We went to look today for Father's Day but decided we didn't want to pay $20 per steak. Albertson's had some select NY Strips on sale but those aren't grill worthy imo. Maybe to make some fajitas or something.

Ended up getting some stuffed chickens from Hebert's instead.

They will go down in the future. I suggest you use this time to lower your cholesterol.

These prices have made me revisit sirloins. And honestly a good sirloin is fricking great.

Took my Dad to Texas Roadhouse for Father’s Day , their prices are still the same. Place was packed, but steak was good.

i actually used to prefer sirloin to ribeye

it's got that true meat/iron flavor that tells you that you're eating meat

wow

i know in this climate these prices aren't going to likely be common, so i am also making bean (using real beef broth so it can't be vegan/vegetarian) chili today, too

Fresh Market had a Fathers Day deal:

Meal Includes:

Premium Choice Tomahawk Steaks (2 ct, 2 lb ea)
Veggie Kabobs (4 ct)
Shrimp Cocktail Tray (20 oz)

At first, i thought it was an "okay" deal, but i realize now, i should have pulled the trigger...
