You can't come up with any better athletes than a pro wrestler, that while being funny, isn't athletic at all? There has to be someone. Maybe you meant famous or successful in his craft but his craft isn't even real. Thats like picking an actor that played an athlete as the most athletic.

To be fair, I said I was looking for sports athletes/figures and people who were icons. Ric Flair is arguably the most famous wrestler ever, and wrestling at one time was very popular. He was also kind of a cultural icon of the US in the 70s and 80s. There might be better options but I dont think he is a bad one tbh

Surely Florida has more than that?

I mean as you listed. Chris Evert is no slouch at all lol

Ali, would probably top most greatest fighter lists and his impact outside the ring would trump anything Man o War did. Secretariat was a phenomenon. Not sure I follow that since Secretariat is not eligible, we have to nominate Man o War. Weird.

Ali and Floyd Mayweather have the exact same dynamic. Either way Man o War was Time Athlete of the Year with Babe Ruth one year and was the face of the golden era of horse racing. Sports Illustrated and the Associated Press voted Man O War the greatest racing horse of the 20th century. This horse also sired War Admiral and grandsired Seabiscuit. You know so little

Find one reputable publication that makes this claim

Sure wasnt your retarded manifesto you posted last night

Man o' War is not even the greatest race horse. Silly to put him with Ali.

You know nothing. Secretariat and Man o War are the two greatest race horses in history. Secretariat was foaled in Virginia so not eligible for the list

He's not supposed to be a starter, right? He wasn't a top 6 big in the a10. Hill is legittttt tho

He is just going to be for size and rebounding. We will have enough offense without him

What's weird is people who never attended, much less graduated, who profess their undying love for an educational institution.

What's weird is the people who never went to a school, aren't from that state, or don't actively live in that state, and still have an undying allegiance to a specific state school. I think we all know a sidewalk fan in here like that

12. Missouri: Michael Spinks or Bill Bradley

I forgot Mizzou was in the conference lol
Whoops I meant I wouldnt argue against any of the ones you listed. Bo is the only one that would not make my list or next one all the other ones you listed have a great claim
quote:

I would argue that Bo Jackson, Satchel Paige, Joe Louis, Jesse Owens and Carl Lewis were better and more influential than Hank Aaron. Willie Mays was the best all around baseball player of all time so you have to keep him on the list.

Idk Hank Aaron broke the home run record in the deep south and was applauded for it. He is also the greatest Braves player in history, which is the primary MLB team for the South. I wouldn't argue against for any of the ones you just listed being on the list, except Bo Jackson
yeah thats a good call. totally forgot about him
