SEC would just bring in more schools to counteract any loss? Now, LSU couldn't fix the loss they would take from the SEC money they'd lose, that's for sure.

People dont realize how detrimental this would be to LSU beyond just football implications. This would be terrible for their school admissions, for their local communities that rely on fans from neighboring SEC schools to travel, and for other sports where kids actually want to play in the SEC.

What brings in the money is the matchup, not just the fact it's a night game in LSU. Yes, bringing in a state twice as big as Louisiana with a GDP 3 times as big and much bigger cities would counteract anything LSU brings.
