Why would you say that? The poll wasn’t about the bbq being above average, it was about what is best in New Orleans. There’s the distinct possibility that the voters think all of the bbq in the city is below average.

Certainly a possibility .. that said I don’t agree. CCBBQ does a great job as well ad Blue Oak and Moes. And they are not the only ones.

Blue oak has kinda sucked the last few times I went

I took my old man and nephew there in January. We got the 4 meat platter with sides. The only thing I enjoyed was the burnt ends. I haven’t been back.
May stumble in before a saints game in the future.
But my top two will always be blue oak and la 23.
