Also has the story been posted yet about the employee in Gainesville who collapsed into the grease because she was overwhelmed by the sandwich orders , and had to be hospitalized?

Y’all killing people!

They must be killing it with the chicken sandwich. I’d love to see their sales. Last couple times I went everyone in front of me ordering that was in earshot ordered one.

Upsetting part was I had to wait for it I guess because they hadn’t made enough and had to cook them. Waited 20 minutes and it was still worth it. In fact it was even better when it was burn the roof of your mouth hot!

Is the Food Board so cluttered it needs Admin cleanup?

I was wondering where my post from last night went.

Carrollton & Earhart was insanely busy last night when I passed by. I've never seen it that busy. There were cars parked on Earhart, the parking lot was full and there were cars on Carrollton waiting to get in.

Given the service at that location, I'm not sure how those folks can successfully operate with that many customers.

All of that chaos For a sandwich.

With a chicken sandwich costing $3.99 I wonder if the profit margins are higher or lower than the standard average meal ordered at Popeyes prior to the sandwich launch.

Drove across town only to see a sign saying "Out of Chicken Sandwich". Decided to just get a 2 piece. Evidently, a lot of other people did the same thing.

They had NO wings, NO tenders, No fries, No Pepsi, No lemonade and No sweet tea. Seven deep at the ONE cash register that was open. Employees moving at the same speed they normally do. Ten cars lined up in the drive through.

Popeyes will never be CFA.

My wife is always on my arse about eating healthy, and we started a health kick recently.

When she asked if I had the chicken sandwich and said yes, I had to use my post in this thread to tell her that I had it more than a month ago, because she saw an article saying that they have only been out for 2 weeks.

Tigerdroppings saved me from the diet gods.

This thread reveals a few additional things:

(1) More than ever how many fast food junkies we have here
(2) The pro mayo hallway patrol is alive and well.

You’re just upset that your French Truck threads don’t hit 50 pages.
